learnings

i surmise, the greatest lesson in starting a business is that no matter how great the idea, how inventive and innovative, how original. it still boils down to working, and working damn hard.

whenever someone asks me about my personal journey with establishing Ling Dynasty Caters, i always tell them that to say the journey is fraught with hardships is sooo understated. it IS. hahaha.

truly when you start something and you get a franchise and find it too expensive, it's actually not. you pay for the premium of running something with less headaches. look at how you get the business in a box, compared with starting from scratch.

yet, this i say, i will never trade all the challenges i have encountered so far. yes, there were moments i'd like to give up, but hey, a dream is a dream. whenever i ask back why i decided to do this, the flame burns a lot stronger.

truly they say, if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. that is sooo true.
i'm here to get burned if necessary.
